We finally made it on the plane. It is a very nice plane! Four rows in the middle and two seats on each side. The evening meal was really nice. I have a funny feeling I’m going to gain a few pounds on this trip! International flights are very interesting – listening to multiple languages and meeting all sorts of unique and interesting people. So far we’ve met two families that are from Atlanta, Ga. Both ladies have had premie babies. They are both precious children – Benny – 14 months old and Talya – 19 months. They are absolutely precious! Big smiles, playing peek a boo and extremely happy babies. What a joy they are. They make me miss the baby days soooo badly! It’s funny, when you’re dealing with diapers and they get into everything you can’t wait for them to grow up. Then when they are older you long for the baby days again. I guess its because as they get older you’re not their ‘world’ anymore and the fears of what could happen to them as they strive to gain their independence is very overwhelming. Especially if you have a daughter!
The anticipation of seeing Israel and the Dead Sea is so exciting to me. I can’t wait to behold all of the wonderful adventures we will experience on this trip. I’m so very thankful I have been so privileged to be able to experience this trip with my family!

I'm so excited for you, Tammy! I can't wait to see pictures. I didn't realize you were going to be baptized in the Jordan! I was looking over your itinerary yesterday and don't know how I could have missed that!
